EyeReport, Asia - India, West Bengal: This time my subject is a food joint and its food maker - Robin (In red T-shirt). Robin is a farmer's son with ability to cook good spicy food.
He is a specialist in preparing fast foods or junk foods sold from street side kiosks and stalls. Robin have specialised in preparing Mughlai Paratha, other parathas and Alu Kasha (kind of potato curry which is more delicious). He works hard during the day preparing his spices and other requirements and from evening he becomes a cook. Robin is very much fond of me and try to push his products to me whenever I pass their shop. Well I am an almost regular visitor to their shop. Whether I eat or not, I visit them, have a chat for five minutes with Robin, all of his helpers and the owner of this shop. Robin is happy with what he does and that much he is paid. The shop owner complaints regularly about Robin. Whenever he goes to his native village, he never returns back in time.
