As an avid gardener it is important that flower beds are always clean and free of weeds and that plants are watered and fertilized on time; it is like clock work. These beds were watered, fertilized but not weed free and It can sometimes get overwhelming when you constantly keep pulling them out only to see them reappear few weeks later.
As I knelt down on my knee pad and began to carefully remove them a thought came to mind. "what if some of us started to live our lives like garden weeds how different would our lives be". Weeds are very hardy plants that can withstand harsh treatments and weather conditions. They pop up among the classified gardening plants and are very determined to grow as they please. You pull them out they come right back. Pretty awesome isn't it. If we took that approach
to our own life can you imagine what a huge difference it would make? If those of us who are blooming flowers just give those who are trying (weeds) to show us their full potential can you imagine the possible outcome.
So I decided to give a few weeds a chance to see their full potential (hey i couldn't leave all of them). I am giving them a chance to see what they can contribute to the garden instead of cutting them off as they begin to grow. Let us apply this lesson to our daily lives. Let us,give each other a chance to grow and see our full potential. Let us be patient with them while they grow. Let us see their full potential. Let us care for each other water and fertilize with encouragement and treat each other as if they belong because they do. Nature is our greatest teacher and most of my lessons I learned in my garden aka my chill spot. Back to pulling more weeds.
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
