You Should Be A Writer

Facebook will show you everything that happened on today's date in your timeline. They automatically sent me this link today and I was once again reminded and moved by a post that a dear friend made the effort to post on my Timeline 4 years ago.

Facebook automatically spewed the highlights in my newsfeed today and I was reminded of a post my dear friend Deborah Chin posted 4 years ago a few months after joining Facebook and exactly 2 weeks after creating my first Facebook group; an alumni group with a question as its title... "What Did Blue Do For You," which was recently renamed Blue Memoirs.

My eldest sister Shirley and my dear friend Debbie are the two most foremost persons in my mind that have encouraged me to write. I still don’t consider myself writing anything of consequence just yet, but I do believe that I have created something far more rewarding.

I created a community for authors; persons, who don’t copy and paste, but originate their own thoughts and ideas and bring them to life on a blank sheet. I think this is what makes authors AWESOME.

Written words possess energy that can educate, enlighten, entertain or inspire others. Authors are originators; they are also referred to as creators.

Definition:

1. A writer of a book, article, or report.

2. An originator or creator of something...

Writing has created so many opportunities for me and with my resources I seek to create the same for others. Put on your writers hat. It has already changed my world and I am hoping that you will allow it to change yours.
