The Day Death Died
The day you understand the teachings of Christ, is the day you will grasp the meaning of everlasting life.
Matthew 19:16And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
John 5:24Verily, verily I say unto you, he that heareth My Word and believeth in Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 5:39-44
39 You study[c] the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, 40 yet you refuse to come to me to have life.
41 “I do not accept glory from human beings, 42 but I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts. 43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. 44 How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God[d]?
Some of us solely pray to Jesus while overlooking who he prayed to.
Matthew 6:9-10
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven...
Let us forever hail and glorify the message from the messenger, but never forget who sent him. Never lose focus on why he was sent.
It is the comprehension of the teachings of Christ that allow us to (transcend the perpetual cycle of life and death and) graduate or in otherwords ascend in the realm of eternal life.
Have a Blessed Good Friday.
