Born in Jamaica in the year 1981 to parents Iva and Vincent Hunter in little district called Lewis Store my childhood years are filled with fond memories. I began school at an early age since my mother was a teacher at Highgate Hall Age Primary in Highgate, St. Mary and I was drawn to music as my dad had a small sound system that would fill the air with Bob Marleys albums every Sunday evening after church. Successfully passing my Common Entrance Examination in 1992 I moved on to St. Mary High School then subsequently to Marymount Business College and pursued additional Business Courses. Read More...

Dee's New Hobbies

Facebook post last night -

'Spend more time learning about yourself and exploring your talents instead of exploring the lives of others".

Do you remember when I shared on fb that I could draw? Well limited to a few things but drawing is drawing right?

Got home and started to explore another interest now hobby..

Ordered my supplies already but while i wait I tried my hand at a few WITH JUST A PENCIL. I tried A horse, a dog and a racoon.

Last night I started TWO (2) new found hobbies, drawing/painting animals on stones and (will share the other new hobby later this week). For my first attempt It felt good and right away I began to encourage myself to keep trying until I get to the point of perfection; well in my eyes. Last night as I spent some time exploring my talents/gifts I also took a moment to reflect. So many of us go through life not exploring the simple talents we were born with.

As a child, I often took on tasks I found interesting. When I graduated from Primary school I took needle and thread in hand that summer and turned my Blue tunic into an apron. A grand surprise to my mom who yelled "Dandiggle can sow?" She was so excited to see what next I could sow.

Over the years I consistently made an effort to find out what I liked, loved, could do and was bad at. This has allowed me to truly find out who I am and this is why I feel comfortable sharing my life with the world. Nothing lasts forever, never forget that. Spend time getting to know yourself, your partner, your family and most of all spend quality time with them.
