Born in Jamaica in the year 1981 to parents Iva and Vincent Hunter in little district called Lewis Store my childhood years are filled with fond memories. I began school at an early age since my mother was a teacher at Highgate Hall Age Primary in Highgate, St. Mary and I was drawn to music as my dad had a small sound system that would fill the air with Bob Marleys albums every Sunday evening after church. 10 Jamaican Breakfast on a Rainy Weekend

It is Saturday morning and you wake up to the sound of rain battering your roof top. No work today for some while others will make their way to church in a few. Happy Sabbath!

For those who will remain in bed, a quick stretch then a yawn and in no time hunger starts to pelt the stomach walls joining the pattern of the rain. What to cook?

I decided to knock on a few of my friends doors early this morning and gather a list of the  10 Possible Jamaican Breakfast on a rainy weekend.
Lets go!

1. Cornmeal Porridge
