Born in Jamaica in the year 1981 to parents Iva and Vincent Hunter in little district called Lewis Store my childhood years are filled with fond memories. I began school at an early age since my mother was a teacher at Highgate Hall Age Primary in Highgate, St. Mary and I was drawn to music as my dad had a small sound system that would fill the air with Bob Marleys albums every Sunday evening after church. Happy Mother's Day

 

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. Your continuous job is hard Work but yet you still continue. Grandmas you are the foundation through your guidance we the younger generation of mothers are kept in line. You have laid the foundation on which our mothers stood and now where we stand.

Grandmas like aunties I salute you today. You have picked up the mammoth task of growing children you never conceived and for that many children knows what a mothers Love is even in the absence of their biological mother.

Young generation of mothers like myself; please make today a day of celebration yet reflection on your role as mothers. See where you can improve in your parenting skills. There is still room for improvement ladies.

Mothers who bares the title and does no work and will be upfront and centre celebrating today I pray you will start taking care of your children. They need you especially in a world where children are being hurt so often, be there for your children. It is not too late start now.

Single mothers, hats off. In the absence of the father you continue to make ends meet to ensure your child is taken care of. Continue your journey and remember never to speak ill if their father. Allow them the privilege to grow up feeling loved by two. Let your child get the answers from him when he is old enough to seek them.

Mothers of the girls in Nigeria I continue to pray for you. Even though today may not be your day of celebration for mothers I am celebrating you today. Happy mothers day to all Nigerian moms.

For those whose mom gave departed *sighs* I do not know what it feels like but the thought of it makes my heartaches. I pray today you will draw the happy memories and relive them. Cry if you must but take some comfort in the wonderful life she lived.
