Born in Jamaica in the year 1981 to parents Iva and Vincent Hunter in little district called Lewis Store my childhood years are filled with fond memories. I began school at an early age since my mother was a teacher at Highgate Hall Age Primary in Highgate, St. Mary and I was drawn to music as my dad had a small sound system that would fill the air with Bob Marleys albums every Sunday evening after church. Successfully passing my Common Entrance Examination in 1992 I moved on to St. Mary High School then subsequently to Marymount Business College and pursued additional Business Courses. Read More...

Who Am I?

I guess that is something he and my mother would later discuss

I am my mothers child yet I have my father's nose
I grew up in a big family
Two rooms for six but lots of fruit trees out side
It was wonderful sharing my life with five wonderful siblings
But why does my father often leaves early in the evening?
I guess he returns after midnight when my tired eyes are sleeping

I am my father’s child but I have my mother’s personality
A young child who sees all and knows all but never ever worries
My mother was a strong woman who gracefully tended to her children
With lots of love and encouragement she always showed she cared
Why does my mother make such huge sacrifices?
I guess she loves us more than any mother loves their children

I am my father’s child by name but I am entirely my mother’s child
He packed his bags and went away and never said goodbye
My mother was happy even tho her struggles where sometimes hard to bear
But with humble kids and a willing heart she kept on living
Now I stand strong facing my own battles but I cannot help but stop and stare
My mother’s strength have now become my own strength and now I have nothing else to fear.

Dedicated to my Mother Mrs. Iva Hunter. I am a true product of her humble hands. I pray she will always be here with me to be my rock on which I stand. My kids are lucky to have such a caring Grandmother, nothing they need is too great for you to provide (stop spoiling them ). You have mothered so many during your over forty (40) years of being inside a classroom. Proud of the woman I have become. I am never one to wait on birthdays or mother's day to show you how much you mean to me So Love you Mama and thanks for always being here especially when i needed you most.
