Born in Jamaica in the year 1981 to parents Iva and Vincent Hunter in little district called Lewis Store my childhood years are filled with fond memories. I began school at an early age since my mother was a teacher at Highgate Hall Age Primary in Highgate, St. Mary and I was drawn to music as my dad had a small sound system that would fill the air with Bob Marleys albums every Sunday evening after church. Successfully passing my Common Entrance Examination in 1992 I moved on to St. Mary High School then subsequently to Marymount Business College and pursued additional Business Courses. Read More...

Lifes Expiration Date, what is yours?

Thank you to my heavenly father for taking me thus far, my employer for the confidence you entrusted in me to carry on the rich legacy, listeners near and far, my motivational close circle that have continued to hold me up, industry professionals, colleagues and family.
I will not forget the Godfather Clint O'neil who started in all and who left us 10 years ago, The late Ras David who made his contribution to the program as well until his untimely passing a year ago. Thanks to Jeanette Drew who also made a solid contribution for many years.

The years have certainly rolled by quickly and I am truly grateful to everyone for the love and support and now its time to .... get back to work... ..... tune in please.... http://player.wlrn.org/ or www.oneharmonyradio.com or 91.3 FM - Greater South Florida/ 91. 5 FM - Florida Keys”

And the caption read

“Live today as if its your last!”

On April 23, 2014 Rich Davis died after suffering congestive cardiac failure with bronchial pneumonia of the right lung. Exactly eleven days after he advised his over four thousand friends to “LIVE TODAY AS IF ITS YOUR LAST”

I became aware of his passing while  checking my messages and a link to a memorable page was in my inbox. I was shocked to find out he was gone and also shocked to find out his final service was already held. So often we wander through life busily making plans and we some how cannot seem to find time for our friends and loved ones that it is when we become aware of the passing of a close friend we remember the importance of living each day. We forget one thing in life that is never ever going to change and that is:-

LIFE HAS AN EXPIRATION DATE

I do not wish to getting into religious beliefs or expound on the bible in this article. My purpose is to ask you to think about life and to see if you are actually living or just existing. Little did Mr. Davis and like so many that has gone before him knew that they would not be here today. Everyday we hear of the passing of someone and for the gift of life we must stay grateful.

The time to start living is NOW. It is not when you buy the house or the car, it is not when you get the promotion or get your Masters Degree; the time is NOW. You may not have eleven days like Mr. Davis, you may have less or more but regardless of your unknown expiration date I urge you to:-

START LIVING.

To Rich's family I extend condolences. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
